First Christian Church puts a priority on missions. We believe that the work of Christ's Church in helping humanity is the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in many loving, tangible ways. At last year's annual congregational meeting, it was voted to accept the Elders' recommendation to give 19% of the offerings to missions
One of our most active Ministry Teams is the Missions team. These men and women meet periodically throughout the year to dispense the monies given by our congregation. It is decided at the beginning of the year which Christian organizations will recieve a monthly gift and then depending on the giving of the congregation the extra monies are given as one time gifts usually twice a year.
